Opportunities fitting our profile are typically too early stage or have internal challenges which limit access to institutional financing or acquirer interest. Nevertheless, they present significant opportunities to address unmet clinical needs.
Opportunities of particular interest include companies or technologies that:
- Target exciting market opportunities but require further due diligence, experienced management, or a cohesive business plan to access financing.
- Require limited capital to achieve auctionable milestones such as working prototypes, pre-clinical testing, in-vitro clinical studies, or intellectual property assessment.
- Target smaller markets that may not be attractive to venture or institutional investors.
- Become immediately attractive to large medical device companies as obvious product line extensions.
